How Church Happen 

Examine the following definitions of church and site the strategy implications for the planter. Use the questions above on the definition, activity and success of church to assist you. In other words, what is church, when do they become church, what is their activity and their measure of success? These questions will help as you seek the strategic implications of each definition.
 

Church happens when a group of Christians are committed to worship, discipleship, fellowship, evangelism and ministry with one another.

Church happens when people meet together on a regular basis in a holy place to be led towards God by a holy man.

Church happens when Christians work together in obedience to God to fulfill their mission of advancing the kingdom of God in this world.

Church happens when two or more baptized believers covenant together to live out the one anothers in the New Testament and be light in their world. 

Church happens when believers grow together and hold one another accountable for obedience to Christ.

Church happens when a group of Christians demonstrate a God infused quality that connects them and others to God. 

Church happens when Christians are growing in Christ and going for Christ.

Church happens when a community of believers implement the offices, structures, activities and traditions of churches in their tradition.

Church happens when two or more Christians commit to edify one another. Obtain the mission statements of local churches and new church starts and examine them for strategic implications.
